This objection comes from Professor of African Prehistory, Christopher Henshilwood. It makes for very interesting reading. Prof Henshilwood represents the AHKR Institute, University of Bergen and is the Professor & SARChI Chair, Institute for Human Evolution at University of the Witwatersrand.

Golder, Advasol’s consultants, have postponed the public meetings to consult on the Oil and Gas Prospecting. The meetings were due to take place on the 10th and 11th.

Recognition by Heritge Western Cape as a Conservation body

At the AGM over Easter, it was decided that the Conservancy would begin the process of investigation into becoming a declared Heritage Area. The first step in this process is to become registered as a Conservation body. The Application for this has been submitted and Heritage Western Cape will consider our application at their Exco meeting on the 14th of July.
